Want to learn more about Bonsai?

Bonsai Classes will be held on Saturdays and we will post them as they come up.  We will use Sunday as the rain date.  This December there will be no classes due to the holidays.  The classes will start at 10:00 am and run for two plus hours with a break in the middle.  Refreshments and a light snack will be served.  Your significant other is welcome to come and watch however please no children under the age of 14.

The Beginner Class Outline

Eight person maximum

2 plus Hour Class on the basic knowledge of the art of bonsai

Includes a ceramic seven inch bonsai pot, a four inch pre bonsai tree of your choice, wire, screen, soil, and fertilizer.

If you want a larger tree you can pick out the one you like at an additional cost.

Course will cover topics such as: Structure, Soil Mixing, Pruning, Root Pruning, Basic Styling, Potting, and Basic Wiring

$56.00 for what’s included above.  We will refund a 10% discount for a companion or spouse ticket who attends with you when you arrive

Additional $10.00 for a eight inch pot and un-styled tree

Additional $20.00 for a ten inch pot and un-styled tree

Bonsai Trees that are in season to root prune during these months (we are still able to re-pot March and May trees in the off season)
